Sacred Listening

Service Description

Through the gifts of holy listening and contemplative conversation, connect to and express safely your life experiences, challenges and deepest longings of your heart. Together we will explore the spiritual aspects of being human, and the unique challenges we stumble upon in our path toward wholeness. Sometimes all we need is a little support through a difficult circumstance. Other times dramatic life changes or aspects of our past can hinder our ability to move forward in trust and faith. In either situation, I offer an intimate, sacred space for you to communicate and process your thoughts and feelings. One of my favorite descriptions of what I aim to offer in Sacred Listening is from the book "Companions in Christ" by Marjorie Thompson. She speaks of being present in a way that “listens the other into clarity.” This is my goal, to listen and guide you into the clarity and truth that already exists within you.    We are each on a unique spiritual journey that is as individualized as we are. No one's path to healing will be the same, and yet many aspects of pain and suffering are universal. We can feel lighter when our pain is acknowledged and understood by another. The quiet stirring of the spirit eventually speaks, when slumbering faculties that live within you are awakened. The strongest source of power for healing is right there within your own heart.
