Michaelmas | Celebrating St. Michael
Sunday, September 28, 2025
4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Vero Christo Sanctuary, Lewisville
For thousands of years, people have gathered to celebrate spiritual life through ritual, song, dance, food, and story. These celebratory festivals reconnect us with the deeper rhythm of the Earth, helping to heal our sense of separation from spirit, each other, and the vast web of life that links us to the cosmos.

At the heart of the year’s turning are four sacred festivals, marked by the solstices and equinoxes; moments that invite us to pause, step out of daily distractions, and attune ourselves to the eternal forces moving through nature and soul. These are times to not just understand, but to feel our unity with all that is—an awareness that only awakens through intentional gathering and shared experience.

The four seasonal festivals are Michaelmas (fall), Christmas (winter), Easter (spring), and St. John (summer).

Our Autumn Festival, Michaelmas, holds special power in this time of global change and new beginnings. The Archangel Michael, warrior of light and bearer of Cosmic Intelligence, calls us to awaken higher consciousness and perceive the Spirit alive in all things. His strength helps us face life’s dragons with courage and clarity, not through force, but through freely chosen will.
Michael’s sword cuts through illusion; his golden orb radiates truth. He inspires initiative, the spark to begin anew – whether founding ideas, forming communities, or daring to live in alignment with love. Watch the meteor showers of the season, and know: Michael’s forces are at work.

Join us in sacred celebration on September 28 and stay tuned for more festivals coming later in the year.
All are welcome. Registration required.
